Yesterday I had a very nice evening. After about four and a half hours of studying in the Anglistik library, I came home at half past eight. I then spent some time on the sofa, reading, I think. After a while Daniel and I had cheese fondue for dinner, which might not be the most healthy option, but nevertheless a quite tasty one. Following dinner Daniel still had some work to do on the computer, so we stayed in our livingroom, him on his desk and me on the sofa (where else?), he working, I knitting. We listened to some nice, relaxing music (Daniel has to help me with this, I can’t even think of the name of an artist that makes the same kind of music at the moment). It was so nice and cosy. I especially enjoyed knitting for a good hour in a row, and not only some stolen moments on the train :-)
As the work in progress is a secret project again (yeah, it occured to me that I might like to knit something for myself one day. But not just now, perhaps after the commisioned pants for Amelie, who knows?), I can’t show anything yet. But it won’t be long, I promise (assuming that anyone is interested, of course ;-) I can tell you that I am working with a wonderfully soft Merino yarn. As yarn lovers seem to say: „Yummy!“ (if you don’t believe me, you can consult some knitting blogs :-) Actually, I don’t really like the yummy-notion, so let’s stay with „wonderfully soft“.
I hope, you had a nice, cosy Monday evening, too :-)
