In the enchanted forest

Once upon a time, there were three friends. They went into a forest, were little brooks were bubbling and the birds were singing. They brought with them some fruit, and little cakes, carrots, cheese and crackers.

They made themselves a cosy place to rest in a sunny spot on the soft, rustling leaves on the forest floor, just where the wind wasn’t blowing and the air was warm, next to a quiet little pond.

There they lay, beshielded by ancient tree giants.

They listened to the frogs serenading and gazed up into the sky.

The forest floor was dotted with little white flowers, which shone like tiny stars in the shadow of the trees. It was such a magical place! The three friends enjoyed the warmth of the sun and each other’s company.

They were just happy that they could spend the day together in the beautiful forest. But, alas, when the shadows grew longer and the air got colder they had to leave and return to the city.

Though till today, when they think of that day, their hearts grow warm and a happy smile plays on their lips.

Das ist sooo schön! Besonders das hier:

Außerdem haben wir ja Alliterationsessen gehabt:
„little cakes, carrots, cheese and crackers“ ;-) sehr cool!
