Jan, my personal career coach, told me (among other things) to learn some new computer programs to gussy up my CV (Lebenslauf). And as I am a good student, I do as I am told ;-) Over the past weeks, I worked and learned a lot in Inkscape, a free Vector Graphics Editor, similar to Adobe Illustrator. Although it’s quite frustrating sometimes (it takes a lot of time to get the envisioned look onto „digital paper“), I also enjoy the process of learning so much.
Today I decided to try to design our „Thank you“-postcards. We want to send them out to people who attended our wedding mass/reception or who sent us cards or presents, but who did not attend the actual celebration later on. Our „real“ guests (those on the official guest list) already got their Thank-you-cards (ahem, most of them…). Perhaps I’ll show you these on another day. But for today I wanted to share with you the fruits of this afternoon’s work. I am not very fast as I have to learn throughout the process and progress, but whatever. I really like the result:
All design elements were used in our save-the-dates, invitations or Thank-you-cards for the official guests, too. I will one day write a post about all our wedding paper goods as I loved them so much :-)
sehr gut gemacht ;) du bist so brav
Natürlich, Jan,
Anna ist einfach toll. Kein Wunder bei der Mutter.

Hallo Anna, hallo Daniel,
Andrea
