Today I read a Coco Chanel quote on Resurrection fern, a blog that always makes me smile and also has me longing for having a forest near by. It perfectly fit in with some photos I took some days ago (actually, one day before my oral exam, at the Alster). They also made me think of embroidery, long before I knew the quote.
In this tree (an alder tree (Erle)) I saw – for the very first time in my life in nature and not just on pictures – several goldfinches (Stieglitze). Unfortunately, it was absolutely impossible to take pictures of them. Still, they made me happy. I am always very excited when I spot a „new“ bird :-)
